How to Remove Fake Nails Without Damaging the Nail Bed? Follow this tutorial to ensure gentle removing and proper care of your press-on / fake nails.

Step 1.

Apply oil around nails

Apply oil, cleansing oil, or other oil-based makeup liquid around the nail edges, or soak your nails in warm soapy water.

Step 2.

Remove fake nails

Gently lift the nail off from the edges using the cuticle tool stick.
(✦) If the adhesive is still strong, soak your nails in warm water for a few more minutes before removal.

STEP 3.

Remove tabs / glue

You can use the tool repeatedly to help the liquid penetrate between your fake nails and the adhesive tab.

Step 4.

Clean the fake nails & your hands

Clean your nails thoroughly to remove any remaining adhesive or oil residue.
(✦) If you used oils for removal, wash the nails with soapy water.
(✦) Do not use alcohol directly, as it may irritate the surface of fake nails.
